<p>Dua pabrikan otomotif besar di Jepang, Yamaha Motor Company (YMC), selaku produsen sepeda motor, dan Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), saling menyatukan visi dan bekerja sama membangun pabrik sepeda motor di Kamboja. Tidak hanya bekerja berdua, YMC dan TTC juga akan menggandeng perusahaan lokal Kamboja.</p>
<p>Dalam perjanjian kerja sama itu, Yamaha memiliki saham 70 persen dan mendirikan bendera Yamaha Motor Cambodia Co., sementara TTC mengantongi 20 persen, dan sisanya dimiliki Cambodia&#8217;s Kong Nuon Import &amp; Export Co.</p>
<p>Perusahaan baru ini akan mengambil alih produksi dan penjualan yang dilakukan Asia Motor Co, perusahaan patungan yang dikembangkan TTC dan Kong Nuon. Ingin segera menuai hasil, Yamaha Motor Cambodia Co. ini akan langsung tancap gas pada awal Oktober mendatang hingga tahun 2010 dengan target penjualan 30.000 unit pertahun.</p>

<p>Setelah menempati posisi empat dalam kualifikasi, Lorenzo sukses melintasi garis finis di posisi empat pada akhir <a href="http://www.detiksport.com/index.php/detik.read/tahun/2008/bulan/05/tgl/03/time/142914/idnews/933373/idkanal/81">balapan</a>. Bisa meraihnya usai menaklukkan kendala cedera, dia jelas tak merasa kecewa.</p>
<p>&#8220;Rasanya nyaris seperti menang. Dengan rasa sakit usai kecelakaan saya merasa buruk dan saya pikir kami tak akan membalap, jadi bisa ikut kualifikasi dan kemudian membalap adalah pengalaman yang bagus,&#8221; ujar dia seperti dilansir <em>Autosport</em>.</p>
<p>Lorenzo yang usai balapan langsung kembali menggunakan kursi roda juga menambahkan kalau hasil di GP Cina ini merupakan hadiah ulang tahun yang bagus untuknya. Tepat ketika balapan berlangsung, Minggu (4/5/2008), dia genap berusia 21 tahun.</p>
